Model Stormwater Management Plan
The model stormwater management plan outlines activities that the Stormwater Management Program will perform on behalf of Johnson County NPDES Phase 2 Stormwater permit holders. Each permitted city has been provided this model plan.

Model Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Plan (word document, pdf document)
This Model Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Plan can be used by Cities to implement and enforce the Illicit Discharge Ordinance adopted in year two of the permit cycle.

DRAFT Municipal Activities BMP Handbook (word documents, pdf document)
The Municipal Activities BMP Handbook provides general guidance for selecting and implementing best management practices (BMPs) to reduce pollutants from municipal operations. The handbook is currently under review by various Johnson County departments and communities.

Annual Reports
The KDHE requires annual reporting of NPDES Phase 2 Stormwater permit compliance activities. The SMP has developed an annual report for each year of the permit. The annual report includes documentation of activities that the SMP performed on behalf of Johnson County NPDES Phase 2 Stormwater permit holders.
