Promote Community Involvement in Stormwater Quality Issues

funding, and/or promotion of watershed based cleanups, water festivals, or
other events focused on stormwater quality or watershed stewardship. This may
include measures such as providing funding ($75,000 in 2004, $75,000 in 2005) for
Water Quality Initiative Grants to support watershed organizations, other
not-for-profit organizations, and school-based efforts towards implementing
programs that focus on public education, outreach, participation and
involvement in stormwater quality and flood mitigation issues in
